My name is Tehreem and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 7 years of clinical experience. I identify as a second-generation immigrant and as a Muslim South Asian woman.
My vision for therapy is creating a space for reflection, untangling, connection, and learning. Along with individual appointments, I have special training in working with couples and families.
I have two little children who both delight me and challenge me. In my parenthood journey, I have experienced complex pregnancies, birth trauma, and neurodivergence. I believe that parents having a soft spot to process their experiences is an invaluable resource.
For me, having to reflect intentionally on my values has been a natural part of growing up with different cultural messages. I see therapy in a similar light: a place to reflect deeply on how we choose to show up in the world.
