About Me

My name is Tehreem and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 7 years of clinical experience. I identify as a second-generation immigrant and as a Muslim South Asian woman.

My vision for therapy is creating a space for reflection, untangling, connection, and learning. Along with individual appointments, I have special training in working with couples and families.

For me, having to reflect intentionally on my values has been a natural part of growing up with different cultural messages. I see therapy in a similar light: a place to reflect deeply on how we choose to show up in the world.

How I practice

I see therapy as a space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore the emotions, patterns, needs, and relationship experiences that shape how you think, feel, and respond to the world. Sometimes the struggles we face today are connected to ways we’ve learned to cope in the past, and understanding those patterns can open the door to new possibilities. I believe that real change comes from looking beneath the surface with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.

At the same time, therapy isn’t just about understanding yourself—it’s also about helping you move forward. I’ll bring practical tools, ideas, and strategies that fit who you are, while building on your strengths and what already works for you. Whether it’s learning new ways to manage emotions, communicate more openly, set healthier boundaries, or respond differently in difficult moments, we’ll work together to find approaches that feel realistic and meaningful. My hope is that you’ll leave therapy not only with greater self-understanding, but with the confidence and skills to create lasting change in your everyday life
